Hair Extensions

Info & Care

Hair Extensions are every woman's desire! Whether it be sewn-in, individually keratin placed, copper link placed, clipped in, glued or skin weft taped...

Busy Little Queen can take care of you!

Having done them for the past 10 years, from the Salon to the Entertainment Industry, they are the most effective way to achieve length, texture, and of course, body!

Please NOTE:

Once and for all, extensions are NOT bad for anyone unless you mistreat them and don't take the time to take care of them.

I've seen disaster after disaster when clients haven't taken care of them, Dreadlocks to the 10th power!

The following below are the explanations and MY suggestions for each one of the methods I provide:

Sewn-In Tracks/ Skin Tape Extensions

Better suited for clients who wish to have a temporary look, about 6-8 weeks before I take them out and re-do them, with one tightening at the 3rd week mark.

-Once put in, wait 48 hrs. before washing hair again so the extension hair can get acclimated to your hair.

-I recommend washing your hair only ONCE A WEEK, the rest of the day's, just rinse with water.

-Always use conditioner and water in a spray bottle to detangle before you wash your hair.

-Once you wash your hair, shampoo only the hair that has not been sewn in, stand under the shower head to rinse thru the rest of the hair, repeat the same procedure with conditioner.

-After all is said and done, make sure to always dry your hair, never put it in a bun or go to sleep with it wet, it will tangle into a huge mess!!

-Once it's dry, and make sure you don't pull while drying it, then you should finish off with "AFTER PARTY" by Bed Head (Suggestion recommended by my friend/client and Arista Recording Artist

Paula Deanda)

-Now you're ready to curl, flat iron, or do whatever it is you'd like to your hair : )

Cinderella Hair Extensions (Individual Bonded) &

Copper Linked (Individual Clamped)

Better suited for clients who wish to have a long term look, about 4-6 months, and in that 4-6 months we switch out some of the old hair with new hair. For Cinderella, we order enough bundles to last us at least 8 months, and with Hair Locs, we can re-use the hair as long as they're in tact and have not lost their hair within the bond.

-Once put in, wait 48 hrs. before washing hair again so the extension hair can get acclimated to your hair.

-Recommended Shampoo & Conditioner for these type of hair extensions is:

Pureology Nano Works (made with Natural Mushroom Extract).

-With both these methods you can wash your hair as many times as you'd like, just make sure you're careful with going in between the Bonds and/or Locs.

-ALWAYS blow dry your hair after your wash and condition, if not, then the bonds will turn white, harden, and fall out. The Locs will have a tendency of knotting and falling out.

-Once it's dry, and make sure you don't pull or tug while drying them, then you should finish off with "AFTER PARTY" by Bed Head (Suggestion recommended by my friend/client and Arista Recording Artist Paula Deanda)

-Now you're ready to curl, flat iron, or do whatever it is you'd like to your hair : )
